Another immature act by the left is their insistance that burning the US flag is acceptable behavior and point to their right to free speech.
If we were to burn a building in the name of free speech, we would be charged with arson. A crime. It is illegal. It is wrong. To burn anything or any form of property with the intent to destroy is against the law.
Yet thanks to activist judges, the irresponsible act of burning the American flag is OK. But burning another nation's flag, such as Mexico, is a crime? How hypocritical is that?
Not to mention wearing shirts with the US flag on it can be a crime in many places and at school. Where is the pride? Where is the honor of being an American when our right to display the stars and stripes is attacked and demeaned?
Freedom to speak does not entitle us to destroy anything. And to be denied our right to display our flag is also an infringement upon our rights to assembly and expression.
The next time you see someone protest and burn the American flag, press charges. It is arson and an act of treason to allow such immature acts to occur.
