What is wrong with a society when everyone can't communicate with one another? And what is wrong when illegal citizens demand more rights than those who are here legally? Telling us how we should live and bow down to them?
It is very sad and depressing to see stores with translations everywhere. And it is an insult to naturalized Americans that we must put up with their culture and they don't accept our own. It shouldn't be that way.
If you want to be a citizen of a country, you must be able to speak the language, learn the laws of the land, pay taxes, and adapt to the culture you are about to live in.
Go overseas, anywhere. The culture and identity of a nation defines a civilization. Without a coheasive bond, such as a single language, rules that are enforced, and a government that governs and doesn't control our lives, society eventually collapses and we all lose. Our rights, our identities, our freedom.
That is why it is so important for the illegals to accept these changes. They must become legal citizens through the proper channels, speak English, accept our culture, learn our laws, and pledge their allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
Otherwise, we stop being one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
